Shane Drury, Middle School Pastor
Shane Drury is the Middle School Pastor at Highview East Campus. Shane is married to Brittany who shares his love for their two Australian Shepherds. When Shane isn’t playing with the dogs, you might catch him playing basketball. And he’s got game!
Shane was educated at Southwest Baptist University and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Shane can identify with students and their faith challenges because he was a junior in high school when he realized his need for a relationship with Jesus Christ. “Growing up I always believed in God but never felt connected to Him. I tried to live a good life hoping to please God and earn my place in Heaven.”
“By my junior year in high school things were going very well for me according to the world’s standards. I was excelling in school and athletics and had great relationships with my family and friends yet my life felt unfulfilled.”
“At the end of that school year a friend invited me to attend her student ministry. That night I heard the Gospel for the first time and realized my need for a Savior. I put my faith in Jesus asking Him to forgive my sins and become the Lord of my life.”
