Brandon Headley, Technical Director
Brandon Headley is the Technical Director at Highview. Simply put, Brandon manages all media responsibilities such as sound, lighting, and video projection for the six campuses of Highview. He is also the point person for media equipment maintenance. You can see Brandon “running the board” at Fegenbush campus for any and all events that happen in the sanctuary.
The Highview Baptist Church School (now called Whitefield Academy) graduate married Brittany Harris this past summer. They met at Highview three years ago. Brandon holds a degree in computer science from Sullivan University.
The UK sports fan plays drums and is learning how to get in his licks on the links as Brandon has recently taken up golf.
The technical bug bit Brandon when he was in elementary school. His father was a music minister and Brandon worked with lights and audio as a way to be involved with dad’s work.
“I have followed that passion throughout my life,” said Brandon. “I began mixing sound at 10 and have had my hand in all kinds of media operations since. In high school I became highly involved in Drama and my interest in lighting began to develop. I have since had a huge love for lighting and the things that can be accomplished with just lights and color.”
Spending all those hours at church with his dad had a big spiritual impact on Brandon as well. “I grew up in a Christian home with Christian parents. I had many opportunities to hear the gospel and truthfully, grew up with the Bible around all the time. At the age of 10, I was saved during a revival service at the church. After that time in my life, I became heavily involved with the youth group and really began to see God work in my life through one of the biggest loves of my life, media. As I grew up, I realized that God wanted me to use the talents He has given me to use media as a method for reaching unsaved people. This journey has led me to Highview, and why I am serving here now.”
