Dan Odle, Associate Pastor of Music and Worship Dan Odle came to ministry from a career in broadcast journalism, as a television news reporter and anchor. Sensing God’s call to full-time Christian ministry, Dan and his family moved to Louisville, KY in 1998, joining the Highview ministry team in June 2000. A native of Illinois, Dan and his wife Stephanie have four children: Bekah, Jacob, Jaron and Micah.
Dan serves as Associate Pastor of Music and Worship at Highview’s Fegenbush Campus. He is passionate about leading God’s people to praise—and about using video technology to impact the culture. He also serves as an adjunct professor of music and worship at Boyce College in Louisville.
Dan grew up in a ministry home. His father was (and still is) a bi-vocational music minister in Illinois. Even though he was in the church building every time it was unlocked (and often helped lock and unlock the doors), he came to understand at a young age that just being at church was not sufficient for salvation. His dad led him to pray to receive Christ as savior after a revival meeting one evening. In fact, when he was baptized a few weeks later, Dan lost his footing as the pastor took him under the water. His feet slipped up and he splashed up out of the water.
