Eric grew up in Jacksonville, Florida where he competed in football, tennis and cross-country during his high school days. He has now focused his athletic pursuits on golf. “I enjoy golf of any variety---links, disc, redneck. You name it, I'll play it!"
Eric's father is a pastor in Florida and learning about the truths of Christ is one of his earliest memories. "I grew up in a Pastor's home. My parents that taught me about the Lord and the Gospel at a young age. At the age of seven I wanted forgiveness for my mistakes and took a step toward accepting Jesus, but I didn't understand what it meant for Jesus to be Lord of my life. At the age of sixteen, I realized that I had not truly surrendered my life to Jesus Christ and on a Sunday afternoon after church I knelt down on the carpet beside my bed, with all the lights off, and asked Jesus to be Lord and Savior of my Life. Since that time I have seen the Lord working in and through me to make me more like Christ and to advance His Kingdom.
I felt a call to ministry on graduation Sunday in my home church sitting on the front pew as my dad preached a message from God's Word. Since then, I have attempted to follow the Lord as He guides me with his hand down the path he has ordained for me. When I first felt called to ministry, the last place I thought God would guide me was into music ministry. It is amazing to see how God changes our hearts and gives us His desires when we seek Him. I have been amazed to see the opportunities He has provided and the ways in which He has allowed me to serve Him and make His name great."
