Heather Carr , Director of Preschool
Heather Carr is the Director of Preschool. She oversees all Sunday morning and Wednesday evening preschool activities at Highview’s Fegenbush campus. Heather also recruits and trains volunteers who serve in the preschool ministry.
Heather and her husband Chad have three children: Hannah, Austin, and Conner.
The Louisville native who attended college at both Sullivan University and the University of Louisville home schools her children. “That keeps me busy. I home school our children, run kids to gymnastics, piano, volleyball, baseball, soccer, football, and basketball. I enjoy watching my kids play sports. This year I have decided to take up running. I enjoy it (when I’m done!). I have run in a few races here in Louisville and my biggest feat, the Louisville Mini-marathon.”
Heather was seven-years-old when she surrendered her life to Christ. “I felt the Holy Spirit tugging on my heart and I gave my life to the Lord. I am so thankful I made the decision to walk with Christ. He has helped me to face the difficulties in my life. God is faithful. His Word gives me answers to questions I have about being a good wife, mother, and servant of God.”
“I serve at Highview because I have a passion for preschoolers and their families,” said Carr. “I know that God promises that His Word will not return void. Meaning, if we teach our children about God, they will come to know, love, and serve Him. What a privilege it is to minister to children.”
