Randy Record, Minister to Adults
Randy Record leads the Adult Ministry at Highview’s Fegenbush Campus. The Paducah, Kentucky native is responsible for connecting our members and guests to ministry areas that include Adult Bible Fellowship, TEAM Men’s Ministry, FAITH Outreach, GO In-reach, OneStep Recovery, Sunday evening Lifegroups, and the Medical Security Team.
Randy and his wife Susan have three children: Sadie, Jase, and Sophie.
The former body-builder has earned degrees from Union University, Jackson, TN and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, KY.
An avid golfer, Randy says he learned about the truth of Christ very early in life. “I first heard about Christ from the knee of my mother. She was always telling my sister and me what church means to us and how Christ is the Savior of the world,” said Randy.
“My family situation was stressed because of my father’s lack of interest in church. My mother persevered by taking my sister and me to church. At the age of 12, at a children’s program, I accepted Christ in my life. Since becoming a Christian, Jesus has always been faithful to me, while at times, I was being unfaithful to him. He has given me a beautiful family. Even though stress and trials come often…Christ is the true rock of my life. I would be honored to help you discover and understand what it means to follow Christ."
