Zach Hensley, College Minister Zach Hensley serves as the College Minister at Highview’s Fegenbush campus. His responsibilities include our college group Bible fellowship at 10:30am Sundays, discipleship on Sunday evenings, college group events, and evangelistic Bible studies on the campus of the University of Louisville.
The Kentucky native was graduated from Walton-Verona High School in 2003. He then came to the University of Louisville where he graduated with a B.A. in communications in 2007. He is now pursuing a Masters of Divinity at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
The former high school baseball player loves attending UofL football and basketball games. “I also love the opportunities that I get to meet new students from colleges around Louisville,” says Zach.
Zach says he grew up in a home in which his parents modeled a genuine love for each other and Christ. Zach was in elementary school when he accepted Christ as Lord and Savior. “At a summer camp when I was 12-years-old I felt that God had a call on my life to serve in full time ministry. At the age of 15, I was blessed with the opportunity to go on my first foreign mission trip. It was during that week in the jungles of Ecuador that I felt God impress upon me a call to serve in foreign missions in some aspect. God has graciously sustained me since, and I am now studying and training to continue to fulfill God’s call on my life.”
