FAITH Outreach
FAITH is an outreach to people who are not currently members at Highview. The FAITH Evangelism Strategy is an excellent tool that provides outstanding training for our members in sharing their faith and ministering to people in our community. Our desire is to help equip our church members in every way to share their faith. We, as members, need to prayerfully consider participating in this vital ministry to reach our community.
Highview has been involved in the FAITH strategy for many semesters. We have youth, college, and adult workers participating in FAITH.
Some general facts about FAITH Evangelism Strategy:
- FAITH is an ongoing comprehensive evangelism, ministry, and assimilation strategy that functions in coordination with our Adult Bible Fellowship.
- FAITH is conducted on Wednesday evenings. A FAITH semester lasts approximately 16 weeks. Each weekly session of FAITH, includes instruction and visitation.
- The FAITH Gospel presentation is simple and easy to learn.
- FAITH develops confidence in sharing the Gospel!

GO Outreach
GO is an outreach to those who are already members, but have not been involved in four weeks within Highview events or ministry. The letters “G” & “O” individually don’t stand for anything, but together they spell “GO.” The purpose of GO is to “go.” This was the last instruction that Christ gave to the Church (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8). Highview’s doing exactly that, we are “going” through calling, writing, and visiting those who are Highview members but not recent attendees.
Each of our Adult Bible Fellowship classes designated a GO Team that will call-write-visit people who are inactive in their attendance in small group-Bible Fellowship.
