Life Groups '09
LifeGroups are smaller gatherings focused on topical study, which will encourage you towards a closer walk with Christ and closer fellowship with our Highview community. These studies will guide you to be biblically-minded with your finances, parenting, marriage, and other elements of living life in the faith. Lifegroups are also offered on-line for those who cannot make a weekly commitment to a small group meeting.

- Register through the purchase of your book at the Growing Strong Resource Center
- Complete a Connect Card located in the pews or at the Member Services Desk and print the name of the lifegroup in the “Comments” section

The Truth Project Daily Travelogue(12 sessions) Cost of Book: $15.00Tuesday evenings beginning September 8, 2009 at 6:30 pm through November 24, 2009 Experience personal transformation through a personal encounter with the living God. The Truth Project Daily Travelogue provides scripturally anchored reflections and prayers for each of the ninety-one days of this intensive small group experience. The goal is to enable readers to grapple with the series' key concepts on a deeper, more experiential level, thus preparing them for a life-changing personal encounter with the author of all Truth. |

Crown Financial Group(10 sessions) Cost of Book: Couple $50, Single $40(begins September 13, 2009, off for Combined Worship, 11/22, and Thanksgiving, 11/29) Fegenbush – Room #104 This Biblical Financial Study is an in-depth study of what Scripture teaches about money and possessions. Most importantly, people are entering into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ as they learn to apply His Word. The price for this study includes the Crown Financial planning kit. Couples that finish the study will receive a $20 refund per couple, and singles who finish will receive a $20 refund as well. |

This Lifegroup will share with you how God longs to share Himself, His purposes, and His ways with you so that you can more fully share in His mission to this broken world. This study will reinforce the importance of the Seven Realities of Experiencing God and provide new insight. |

Threads of Hope, Pieces of Joy(9 Sessions) Cost of book: $14.31(begins September 13, 2009, off for Combined Worship, 11/22 and Thanksgiving, 11/29) Fegenbush – Room #103 Simply put, infant loss is a horrible life-altering situation. This Bible study is written by two women who each experienced this type of loss. Here at Highview, the study is going to be taught by women who have experienced it also. If you have experienced miscarriage or the loss of an infant, please join us as we minister to one another. |

Before You Were Mine: Discovering Your Adopted Child’s Lifestory(11 Sessions) Cost of book: $15.00 (begins September 13, off for Combined Worship, 11/22 and Thanksgiving, 11/29)Fegenbush – Room #229 This study allows parents to help their adopted children learn more about who they are. The group will create Lifebooks for their adopted children. Lifebooks are books of memories about a child’s life prior to adoption. Each child’s story is different, but they all have two things in common – they are now your child and they are all God’s children. |

This class will end with a special trip to enjoy “God’s outdoors.” |
