Life Groups Spring 2009
LifeGroups are smaller gatherings focused on topical study, which will encourage you towards a closer walk with Christ and closer fellowship with our Highview community. These studies will guide you to be biblically-minded with your finances, parenting, marriage, and other elements of living life in the faith. Lifegroups are also offered on-line for those who cannot make a weekly commitment to a small group meeting.
2009 Spring Semester Schedule
Starts: February 15, 2009 Ends: May 3, 2009
Time: 5:30pm to 7:00pm
Longer studies will run for eight to 11 weeks
Classes begin February 15 and run through May 3, 2009 with April 12 off for Easter.
- Shorter studies will run for four to six weeks
- The first session is for six weeks beginning February 15 and runs through March 22. 2009 with no interruptions.
- The second session is for five weeks beginning March 29 and runs through May 3, 2009, with April 12 off for Easter.
Life Groups Online
- Lifegroups Online are for business travelers, stay-at-home moms, and those who find it hard to come to a regular Lifegroup.
- During a Lifegroup semester, different Christian studies will be offered online. You will be given a study guide in which you will journal online with a community of other Highview members.
- This experience is to enhance your growth and maturity in the Lord.
ONESTEP – The Road to Recovery
The idea that healing best occurs in a redemptive community is the heart behind these new OneStep studies. God promises to help you pick up the pieces of your broken life, as you experience all that God has for you. Registration for these classes will be held in strict confidence. Please call 502-231-6258 or log onto www.highview.org and click on resources/lifegroups. Your call will remain confidential and your registration will be given only to the person teaching your class. Your study material will be picked up from the Growing Strong Resource Center by your teacher. Your book will be given to you during your first class, and you may pay for the book at that time by cash or check.
